✮ Trainer ✮
Name: Geo Stelar
Class: Rising Star
Type:

Ability: Engineer - The Trainer is a master of crafting and utilizing items in combat. Engineers have the ability to, with the right components, craft a special item once a week (special items can include the specific Pokémon-based items such as Metal Coats, Water Stones or Charcoal, or they can be special equipment for Enlightened, such as a gun that shoots fire bullets). Additionally, items in the hands of their Pokémon are more potent; engineers gain two uses of single use items. If an Engineer is involved with a trade that would normally consume a single-use item such as trading an Onix with a Metal Coat, this ability applies no matter what side of the trade the Engineer is on.
Current Level: 28
Pokémon Bonded: 21/60
Abilities:
★ Base Form: Weak telekinesis (lower than the general power level of Confusion), weak, short-lived shields (last 3 seconds at most and can't take much more than a Karate Chop), slightly higher strength and speed than a base human, allowing him to emulate weak Fighting-type moves (such as Arm Thrust, Double Kick, and Mach Punch).
☆First Evolution: Increased telekinetic power (about on par with Confusion), slightly more durable shields that last longer (last three to five seconds, can take up to a Psycho Cut or Night Slash), teleportation (can't go more than three feet from his current position), further increased strength and speed, allowing him to emulate stronger Fighting-type moves (such as Force Palm, Rolling Kick, and Low Sweep).
☆Second Evolution: Strong telekinetic power (on par with Psychic), longer-lasting and durable shields (last up to ten seconds, can take an Outrage or Superpower--but weak to Brick Break), longer-ranged teleportation (ten feet from his current position), further increased strength and speed, allowing him to emulate strong Fighting-type moves (such as Sky Uppercut, Cross Chop, and Jump Kick).
Inventory: Shooting Star Pendant, Good Rod, Metal Coat, Visualizer, Old Rod, Mow Core, Engine Core, Moon Stone, Silk Scarf, Fire Stone

Maia
Meowstic
♀
30
Calm nature, strong willed.
Met at Lv.1 in Union.
Keen Eye - Prevents other Pokémon from lowering accuracy.
Scratch, Leer, Covet, Confusion, Light Screen, Psybeam, Fake Out, Disarming Voice, Psyshock, Charge Beam
The Stelar family pet (formerly, at least). She's been there for Geo since his father disappeared and is just as much family to him as Geo's mother. She's a fussy little thing, and always tries her best to look out for Geo. ... And maybe try to get him to socialize a little, too.
Evolution hasn't changed her fussiness at all...
Evolved during Week 112 (Lv.25).
[Namesake: Maia (20 Tauri), one of the stars of Pleiades.]
Saiph
Purrloin
♂
25
Docile nature, highly curious.
Met at Lv.7 in Old City.
Limber - Protects the Pokémon from paralysis.
Scratch, Growl, Assist, Sand Attack, Fury Swipes, Pursuit, Torment, Fake Out, Hone Claws
Geo met Saiph on his first venture into Old City. Saiph and Maia became good friends fairly quickly, and the Purrloin has taken up the Espurr's cause in trying to get Geo to socialize more. His natural curiosity and penchant for getting into everything tend to expedite forcing his trainer into interacting with people.
He could evolve, but he really seems to like being small enough to poke his nose into things.
[Namesake: Saiph (κ Orionis), a star in the constellation Orion.]
Giedi
Scyther
♂
25
Brave nature, highly persistent.
Met at Lv.5 in Verdant Forest (North).
Technician - Powers up the Pokémon's weaker moves.
Vacuum Wave, Quick Attack, Leer, Focus Energy, Pursuit, False Swipe, Agility, Wing Attack, Fury Cutter
Giedi is an oddly honorable sort, a real heroic soul. He stands up for justice, fighting what he perceives as evil, and confronts darkness at any point that he can. This includes minor lawbreakers, though, and he seems adamantly Lawful Good!
[Namesake: Giedi (α Capricorni), a double star in the constellation Capricornus.]
Sinistra
Spinarak
♀
15
Naughty nature, thoroughly cunning.
Met at Lv.5 in Verdant Forest (North).
Insomnia - Prevents the Pokémon from falling asleep.
Poison Sting, String Shot, Scary Face, Constrict, Leech Life, Night Shade
A sneaky, stealthy, ninjalike Pokémon, she prefers to strike with surprise from the shadows and take people unaware. Is she doing this to spite Giedi? Or just because it's in her nature?
IN THE BREEDING CENTER UNTIL 4/30
[Namesake: Sinistra (ν Ophiuchi), a star in the constellation Ophiucus.]

Atik
Rotom
20
Quirky nature, highly curious.
Met at Lv.14 in Mausoleum.
Levitate - Gives full immunity to all Ground-type moves.
Trick, Astonish, Thunder Wave, Thunder Shock, Confuse Ray, Uproar, Double Team
Atik is a really excitable and curious Pokémon. It runs around animatedly, flying into things and possessing every bit of technology it can. Geo's radio? Yep! Doorbell? Uh Huh! Unfortunately it often winds up shorting out some circuit, and that can start to make repair bills add up.
Geo's making an attempt at reining it in, but ahahaha...
(Available Cores: Mow Core, Engine Core)
[Namesake: Atik (ο Persei), a star in the constellation Perseus.]
INVENTORY
Good Rod - Fishing Rod. Fish for mid-level, mid-strength Water-type Pokémon in bodies of water. (Made Week 104)
Metal Coat - Type-enhancing item. Increases the power of Steel-type moves by 20% when held. Also used to evolve certain Pokémon when held while being traded. (Made Week 107)
Visualizer - Enhanced Item. Mimics the effects of the Pokémon move Foresight when activated and worn in battle. (Made Week 108)
Old Rod - Fishing Rod. Fish for low-level, weak Water-type Pokémon in bodies of water. (Bought in a Union store)
Mow Core - Rotom Core. Transforms Rotom into an Electric/Grass type and gives Rotom the ability to use Leaf Storm. (Made Week 109)
Engine Core - Rotom Core. Transforms Rotom into an Electric/Steel type and gives Rotom the ability to use Flash Cannon. (Made Week 110)
Moon Stone - Induces the evolution of certain Pokémon. (Made Week 112)
Silk Scarf - Boosts the power of Normal-type moves. (Made Week 113, given to Alcyone)
Fire Stone - Induces the evolution of certain Pokémon. (Made Week 114)
Cycle Frame - A lightweight frame with a fixture for an Engine Core. (Made Week 119)
Alya
Fletchinder
♀
20
Hardy nature, strongly defiant.
Met at Lv.8 in Scorched Forest.
Big Pecks - Protects the Pokémon from Defense-lowering attacks.
Tackle, Growl, Quick Attack, Peck, Agility, Flail, Ember
While normally a hardy, courageous Pokémon, Alya harbors a secret fear of the dark. To counteract this fear, she generates tiny flames whenever she's left alone in dark places. Sometimes she generates far too many of these flames for anyone's good, including her own...
Evolved from Fletchling to Fletchinder during Week 111.
[Namesake: Alya (θ Serpentis), a star in the constellation Serpens.]
Taygeta
Spearow
♀
20
Gentle nature, alert to sounds.
Met at Lv.5 in Scorched Forest.
Keen Eye - Prevents other Pokémon from lowering accuracy.
Peck, Growl, Leer, Fury Attack, Pursuit, Aerial Ace
Taygeta is the most sweet-tempered, kind, considerate Pokémon in the Scorched Forest, always willing to go the extra mile for someone or check up on them if they're feeling down. Unfortunately, since Spearow tend not to have a reputation for altruism, her scary face often frightens away the very Pokémon she had hoped to cheer.
The closer she gets to evolution, the more she indicates that she'd really rather not... She's already kind of scary-looking, she doesn't need to be scarier!
[Namesake: Taygeta (19 Tauri), a triple star system in the constellation Taurus, and one of the Pleiades.]

for my own reference - ideas for enhanced items for Geo to make???
Pester balls????
Flash-using device (meant as a dazzler, or like a flashbang)
String Shot gun
Tyl
Axew
♂
19
Naive nature, highly curious.
Egg received from Breeding Center. Hatched in Union.
Mold Breaker - Moves can be used on the target regardless of its Abilities.
Scratch, Leer, Assurance, Dragon Rage, Dual Chop, Scary Face
Geo's first Pokémon from the Breeding Center, Tyl imprinted on him almost immediately after hatching. Geo's a little unsure how to proceed from here, but at least Tyl is a sweetheart and not a troublemaker (and also very affectionate).
[Namesake: Tyl (ε Draconis), a star in the constellation Draco.]
Sarin
Klefki
♀
15
Impish nature, thoroughly cunning.
Met at Lv.5 in Old City.
Prankster - Gives priority to a status move.
Fairy Lock, Tackle, Fairy Wind, Astonish, Metal Sound, Spikes
Sarin is a bit of a...klef-tomaniac. She's quite enamored of locking and unlocking drawers in Geo's house at whim, thrilled that she has the power over whether or not he's able to get at his notebooks, pens, etc. But for all this, she means no harm, and will gladly unlock what she's locked if Geo asks nicely.
She will, however, wait for a "please".
[Namesake: Sarin (δ Herculis), a star in the constellation Hercules.]
Rotanev
Gyarados
♂
20
Adamant nature, alert to sounds.
Met at Lv.7 in Verdant Forest (West).
Intimidate - Lowers the opposing Pokémon's Attack stat.
Tackle, Bite
Rotanev is a 'mon on the move, always wiggling and Splashing about. If Geo leaves him on one side of a body of water and then looks away, chances are by the time he comes back to it, Rotanev will be well on his way to the opposite side...where he bumps into the edge and then just stays there, flopping uselessly. This bodes well for his Speed later, at least?
Now that Rotanev has evolved, he's still constantly moving, but most bodies of water are a bit small for him to swim across now... At least he does more than flop uselessly now!
Evolved during Week 112 (Lv.20).
[Namesake: Rotanev (β Delphini), a binary star in the constellation Delphinus.]
Ascella
Luvdisc
♀
15
Hasty nature, thoroughly cunning.
Met at Lv.3 in Verdant Forest (West).
Swift Swim - Boosts the Pokémon's Speed stat in rain.
Tackle, Charm, Water Gun, Agility, Draining Kiss, Lucky Chant
Ascella is something of an obsessive matchmaker, trying to get Geo to accept romance into his life (despite his many protests that he's a little young for it). She's constantly on the lookout for potential partners for her trainer in his age range.
(He really wishes she'd stop.)
[Namesake: Ascella (ζ Sagittarii), a star system in the constellation Sagittarius.]
Ain
Klink
15
Quirky nature, impetuous and silly.
Met at Lv.6 in Old City.
Plus - Boosts the Sp. Atk stat if another Pokémon has Plus or Minus.
Vice Grip, Charge, Thunder Shock
True to its species name, Ain has a knack for music - particularly percussion, as it enjoys bumping its edges against different kinds of metal to see what sounds they make. Ain's inquisitive and curious with no sense of personal space, and has a mean sense of rhythm, though turning in a circle to bump against things sometimes leaves it dizzy.
[Namesake: Ain (ε Tauri), a star in the constellation Taurus.]
Alcyone
Chansey
♀
15
Calm nature, highly persistent.
Met at Lv.5 in Union.
Natural Cure - All status conditions heal when the Pokémon switches out.
Defense Curl, Pound, Growl, Tail Whip, Refresh, Double Slap
Alcyone is one of the many Chansey who gathered from all over the land to come to Union to help after Kyurem's attack. Seemingly young, she's a busybody who can't leave the suffering to suffer in silence. She'll push aid on anyone and everyone she can get to. She's a sweetheart, but incredibly stubborn...
Holding a Silk Scarf
[Namesake: Alcyone (η Tauri), a star system in the constellation Taurus, and one of the Pleiades.]
Merope
Clefairy
♀
18
Sassy nature, good endurance.
Met at Lv.18 in Caverns/Iron Mine.
Magic Guard - The Pokémon only takes damage from attacks.
Disarming Voice, Pound, Growl, Encore, Sing, Double Slap, Defense Curl, Follow Me
Merope likes to bust a groove! A real dancer at heart, she's as liable to challenge a Pokémon to a danceoff as she is to actually fight. Thankfully, she's got some smooth moves, too!
[Namesake: Merope (23 Tauri), a star in the constellation Taurus, and one of the Pleiades.]
for my own reference - VARIOUS CRAP ABOUT HIM (and his Pokemon) IN THIS AU
• despite the fact that he's a not very Union-y Unionite, he does take the city spirit to heart when it counts!! He'll become more Union-y as he develops
• holds the story of the Savior in very high regard because he heard it from his dad (established in his app), doesn't take insults to the Savior very well (x), looks up to her because of both what she did and what she was like (x)
• enjoys the food from Marukyu, particularly their stir-fry (established in this tdm thread)
• doesn't really bother listening to the radio (this is why he had no idea who Sonia was upon first meeting her) and also doesn't really care about idols or whatnot
• ... doesn't bother with a lot of entertainment/fine arts things in general, he didn't recognize Haruka either in their first conversation (this and the above point are very much based in canon)
• Atik steals Geo's Warp Band to listen to crime dramas a lot (based on Omega-Xis watching crime dramas a lot because let's face it, Atik is basically the closest Geo has to Omega-Xis in this AU)
• admires the Swords of the Savior (to parallel his Satella Police fanboying in SF3)
• makes semi-frequent trips into Old City, is pretty well-acquainted with it by now
Spica
Vulpix
♀
14
Mild nature, strongly defiant.
Met at Lv.10 in Mausoleum.
Flash Fire - Powers up the Pokémon's Fire-type moves if it's hit by one.
Ember, Tail Whip, Roar, Baby-Doll Eyes, Quick Attack, Confuse Ray
Spica is a sweet, kind, loving Pokémon that only wants to keep Geo warm and happy. She's extremely protective, and unfortunately a little bit possessive. She refuses to leave his side, even when he's sleeping, and that may be all well and good now that she's small but she will get larger...
[Namesake: Spica (α Virginis), the brightest star in the constellation Virgo.]
Albireo
Golett
10
Gentle nature, .
Egg received from Breeding Center. Hatched in Union.
Iron Fist - Powers up punching moves.
Pound, Astonish, Defense Curl, Mud-Slap, Rollout
A little slow on the uptake. Pretty sweet otherwise, except when angered. Loves Geo's other Pokemon and wants to protect them.
[Namesake: Albireo (β Cygni), a star in the constellation Cygnus.]
Atlas
Riolu
♂
19
Serious nature, good perseverance.
Met at Lv.15 in Caldera.
Steadfast - Boosts the Speed stat each time the Pokémon flinches.
Foresight, Quick Attack, Endure, Counter, Feint, Force Palm, Copycat
Atlas is a stern scholar of battle. He carefully observes other Pokémon, be they Fighting-types or not, and seeks to expand his own fighting skills by imitating their battle styles. He's easily embarrassed by other people's auras, though, and may suddenly make himself scarce should he happen upon a romantic scene.
[Namesake: Atlas (27 Tauri), a triple star system in the constellation Taurus and one of the Pleiades.]
Albali
Mawile
♂
16
Naive nature, strong willed.
Met at Lv.12 at the Mountains.
Intimidate - Lowers the opposing Pokémon's Attack stat.
Taunt, Growl, Fairy Wind, Astonish, Fake Tears, Bite, Sweet Scent
Albali is honorable to a fault. He will never backstab anyone, he will never attack unless he's clearly warned his opponent, and he will never, ever lie, steal, or cheat at anything. He's a bit of a stick in the mud, really, and his sense of fun is tied heavily into his sense of fair play.
[Namesake: Albali (ε Aquarii), a star in the constellation Aquarius.]
Meissa
Togepi
♀
10
nature, .
Egg received from Breeding Center. Hatched in Union.
Serene Grace - Boosts the likelihood of additional effects occurring.
Growl, Charm, Metronome, Sweet Kiss
a smol egg
[Namesake: Meissa (λ Ori), a star in the constellation Orion.]
Alcor
Eevee
♂
1
Docile nature, highly curious.
Egg received from Breeding Center. Hatched in Union.
Adaptability - Powers up moves of the same type as the Pokémon.
Helping Hand, Growl, Tackle, Tail Whip
how does Geo hold all these baby Pokemon
[Namesake: Alcor (80 UMa), one of a double star in the handle of the Big Dipper.]
Situla
Spritzee
♀
21
Naughty nature, mischievous.
Met at Lv.21 in Flower Grove.
Healer - Sometimes heals an ally's status condition.
Sweet Scent, Fairy Wind, Sweet Kiss, Odor Sleuth, Echoed Voice, Calm Mind, Draining Kiss
Situla is a real troublemaker, constantly deciding to try out new fragrances by blasting anyone and everyone nearby. If they protest? All the more spray...and if they're Heze...even more!
[Namesake: Situla (κ Aquarii), a star in the constellation Aquarius.]
Heze
Sewaddle
♂
21
Sassy nature, hates to lose.
Met at Lv.21 in Flower Grove.
Chlorophyll - Boosts the Pokémon's Speed stat in sunshine.
Tackle, String Shot, Bug Bite, Razor Leaf
Heze is a bit of a whiner. He hates everything, and will complain endlessly about his horrible luck. Particularly Situla, who's seemingly attached to tormenting him.
[Namesake: Heze (ζ Virginis), a star in the constellation Virgo.]
Sirius
Absol
♂
26
Naughty nature, mischievous.
Met at Lv.26 in Refuge.
Super Luck - Boosts the critical-hit ratios of moves.
Scratch, Feint, Leer, Quick Attack, Pursuit, Taunt, Bite, Double Team, Slash, Swords Dance
Sirius is a mischievous thing, often taking advantage of his species' sinister reputation by playing pranks on Geo. He will predict totally outlandish things, or wait in the linen closet to scare him, or just appear from under the bed as he's having a bad dream. Basically he's kind of a jerk.
[Namesake: Sirius (α CMa), a binary star in the constellation Canis Major.]
Denebola
Shinx
♀
13
Quirky nature, alert to sounds.
Met at Lv.13 in Canyon.
Intimidate - Lowers the opposing Pokémon's Attack stat.
Tackle, Leer, Charge, Baby-Doll Eyes, Spark
Denebola enjoys fitting herself into tight spaces. Whether this be the space beneath Geo's bed, an extra box someone left lying around, or basically any place it's possible to squeeze a Shinx except for her actual bedding, she tends to silently slip into place and remain there until startled by noises only she can hear. Then she leaps out of apparently nowhere and dashes across the room, startling anyone who happened to be around at the time.
[Namesake: Denebola (β Leonis), a star in the constellation Leo.]
